Recipes I Like

These are recipes that I have found from a number of resources and have tried myself.

Many of them I have shared in my private Facebook groups and have made multiple times because I enjoyed them so much.

Keep checking because i'll keep adding favourites!

Chickpea Salad Sandwich

I make this one without the "sandwich" bit and use it as a side.

I first had this at a family bbq so I immediately asked for the recipe source and I'm so glad I did! It's so fresh and creamy...without cream of course. I used dill in mine because we like that extra dill punch in my house.

Lemon Poppy Seed Muffins

Healthy Lemon Poppy Seed Muffins » LeelaLicious

Great snack on the go! These delicious muffins are made with a coconut flour base. I've made this recipe multiple times, as have friends and clients of mine that I have shared it with. They are a crowd pleaser for both the gluten free and non gluten free folks.

I dare you to only eat one of these moist muffins!

note: I don't use the optional tapioca starch and I've not missed it.

Grain Free Fruit Crumble Recipe

Grain-Free Fruit Crumble (meghantelpner.com)

I first made this recipe when I was completing my certification as a Culinary Nutritionist. I've made it many times since as a dessert for holidays or pot lucks.

It's so easy to switch out which what ever fruits you have in season or available. I've even made this recipe on vacation with tropical fruits. Delicious!

Almond Crusted Chicken

This is a great alternative to traditional fried chicken.

It works great for people living with Crohns or Gluten Allergies

As you can see from my photo, the chicken comes out crispy and you don't have the extra oil from frying.
